Good Evening Peeps!
Normally during the Co-optional podcast I write my blog post, but this time I did not. Why you might ask? Because Guild Wars 2 added more content! So, like a Guild Wars fanatic that I am, I had to play it XD Let me just say that so far I'm enjoying the new content. I am not done everything yet but I don't play the content to blitz through it. I just wish that the new currency stuff didn't take up an inventory space. GAH. Perhaps I should do an inventory purge...
If you are on my facebook, you may have noticed that I did a vague booking thing. I might be a contributor on second site for video game content. Let me just say that this is exciting! Not only am I doing article work, I'm doing two short stories for contests, and I'm not yet done my editing.
I brought a friend to Friday's write in, and we discussed the things that I need to work on for my novel. The glaring issues that I forget about, “Wait, who is Alowyn? Did you mention her before? You will need to clarify these things before continuing. As the reader, I'm confused.” That's the sort of thing that I need at this current stage. With everything going on, I have been slacking a bit on editing because of writing. This I consider to be a good issue to have. One that is not going to happen forever, I might add. Agnus The Beast is still going to be edited because I'd like it to be in a much better stage of completion either by the end of the year or by early next year. For the record, I plan to self publish this one. And just because it was perfect timing, S.M. Carriere shared a Chuck Wendig post that is amusing. You can find that here:
It's worth it.
Over the weekend I was borrowed to help my mom install a filtration system on my grandmothers water line. It ended up being slightly more complicated than it should have been. A job that only should have taken 2 hours ended up taking a couple of days because of other real life things. We had Swiss Chalet, watched great shows, and had a good time doing random things. I enjoy spending time at my grandparents; it's rather relaxing for me.
I should be back to streaming hopefully tomorrow but I'm not quite sure yet. As I said, it's been busy!
