Good day peeps!
I meant to do this a few days ago however, it's been busy. I successfully sent in my short story to that contest, I went to a fantastic book launch of some of my friends, I acquired a new beta reader, and painfully attempted the Mad King's Tower, and watched LowkoTv open his epic present!

The short story that I submitted makes me nervous. Its subject matter was the feelings I had right before I started writing for EloTalk and moderating for PRL (a Rocket League community). Due to that, it was that in the short story, I had put my real vulnerabilities into it. My objective for entering the contest was to see if it was possible to write something under 1,000 words. For me that is a challenge because I tend to write a ton. I did it. I submitted it. Now I feel like I achieved something. Woot!

For gaming lots of things have happened. A friend of mine was amazing and grabbed me Civ VI. Welcome to no life! MWAHAHHA. I'm going to play more of it later. Then, a couple days later, my other half grabbed me the special edition of Skyrim. SKYRIM. I've never played this game before.... So this should be interesting. We'll see how badly I do in it. He will be pleased when we get to play (as soon as his computer stops being a dick). I will be playing through some Costume Quest so that I can do my Halloween article.
Then tomorrow will happen.. Tomorrow is going to be challenging. A friend will be stopping by and then it's the official launch of Nanowrimo at midnight. The Jaggy will be writing. A lot.
Should you want to be buddies, add me: http://nanowrimo.org/participants/jagtress
HAWT DAMN.
Yesterday was me staying up doing JPs in Guild Wars with a friend. Then I stayed up to watch Lowkotv open his present which was a bunch of cards from all of us, the chocolate, and then the gift of an amazingly expensive watch that we pitched in on. It was worth staying up til 8am or so to see this epic event. I recorded it. True story!

So I napped and my roomie made me tea because she knew I had a busy day. I went to the write in at a great cake and coffee place. Then I belined my butt to the mega book launch of 7 different authors and could only buy one book so I went with "M School" by Kevin T. Johns (The M stands for Murder btw). Most of them are my friends that I've spoken to at various other writing events like Can-Con. S.M. Carriere, Evan May, Kevin T Johns, Melissa Yi, Eric Desmarais, Caroline Frechette, and Cait Gordon. The creator of Blush was also there, and that is Jen Desmarais (the amazing other half of Eric. Same website!). Make sure to follow them all!
This brings us to this morning where I set out to catch myself up to things like write my Halloween article, hopefully finish the Mad Kings Tower, email some people I haven't been able to email yet. And perhaps stream? We'll see O.O
But then I saw this video and laughed ridiculously. So that's where I shall leave this blog today:
I will see you on the other side of a busy November!!!
Until next time peeps!
