This Past Weeks Insanity!

Good afternoon peeps!
What a week it has been... Many things have happened that I don't even know where to begin.
Firstly, I've been writing for Elotalk, more than I expected initially. This is not a bad thing at all! It's actually rather fun to track down what to write about. Doing this has also made me become more efficient with my writing. The article covering the Aquadome update released a couple hours ago, I wrote in about fifteen minutes. One of my other articles took about five hours – mostly due to finding the source material and ensuring people had credit for their stuff.
Also this week I've been watching a lot of Rocket League tournaments, partly because I'm doing the recap articles, and partly because I'm part of the moderating staff. It's been a whirlwind of a week but I'm enjoying it greatly.
I also managed to send off my first couple of scenes to my Critique Partners. After talking with Nicole at the write in on Saturday, understanding what to look for in the editing process makes much more sense now. HUZZAH.
The other thing I've been preparing for is Nano. I have a much better understanding on what to do and what not to do for November. These are things I've learned from writing 50k in a month successfully, 30k in the first Camp Nano, and another 30k in the second Camp Nano. I'm excited to finally get the vampire novel down with it's plot :D FINALLY. This has been in the works for sooo long and I finally have direction with it.
Right after the write in, which was literally just three of us, I raced home to get to Gregory A. Wilson's stream. As you know from last weeks post, a bunch of authors were able to try out a piece of Ed Greenwood's new module. It was set in 2nd Ed D&D which was an interesting throw back for me. Most of you don't know that I actually started my love of table top RPGs in 2nd Ed... 20 odd years ago.. True story. Amal El-Mohtar made the game funny as hell. There were so many comments and quotes that I have from it, it's brutal. Literally. The game was completely NSFW so don't watch the youtube while at work, or driving, or anywhere you'd feel uncomfortable laughing so hard that you cry. (Just for the record.. I accidentally typed out crap the first time... Foreshadowing...*cackles* ) The link is here and it's a 5 hour game. Ed Greenwood did fantastic and he seems like the most relaxed person on the planet. One day.. One day...
Anyways, I will be moving this site to WordPress at some point soon. Since all of the sites that I write articles for use the site, I'm now decently familiar with the way it's set up. I'll keep you guys posted about that but keep an eye out just in case!
That's all I have for now! I have editing to do and I want to play the new Rocket League arena more :D
