Movies, Birthdays, and More!

Good morning peeps!

Today begins the epic birthday madness part two. I went to a party a few days ago for a friend I haven't seen in eons but unfortunately the place was at capacity. That's too bad, I was looking forward to shooting some pool but you know, a tournament happening at the same time wasn't exactly helpful.

Another friend is having her birthday at the Cactus and I'm stoked. I love that place, albeit slightly expensive, so it's going to be a good time. Tomorrow is my brothers birthday as well so the Cactus is like a dual birthday bash.

Friday is movie night! There is the Pitch Perfect madness and that day is the release day of xXx: Return of Xander Cage. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Which means that likely Saturday or something, I shall go. Once February hits, mom and I are going to watch John Wick 2. I'm excited for this! Can we tell what sorts of movies I watch?

Property of Paramount Pictures

So you see, I enjoy going to movies, as long as they release things I'm interested in. There are many times movies are released that I'm just not thrilled about. And because of that, I sometimes miss movies I want to see.

On the writing front I've been working at editing Agnus the Beast. I was hoping to have it done by now but that clearly didn't happen. The strugglebus part of my editing is adding combat scenes that weren't previously written. Combat scenes are strangely tough for me to write out - a point that my betas are likely going to have an interesting time with.

I've also been thinking about a shorter ebook to write about the craft of writing. I'm likely going to need some help putting that together from author friends. My reasoning for this one is due to my email. I looked at my writing folder and saw a copious amount of newsletters from writers that I follow. They all have useful information in them, and I only follow about 6 people, but sometimes I don't have the time to go through it all. So I wanted to compile something specifically for new writers and tailor it to the stage of the profession they are in. Therefore if any of my author readers have thoughts on this one, I'd love to hear it!

The therapist ebook isn't done yet. It really should be. It's not meant to be long but I realized I need to figure something out first before I write it out. Once I do that, it's smooth sailing :D

Anyways, I have editing to do and dying miserably in XCOM 2 (SERIOUSLY THIS GAME. GAHHHHHHHHHHHH! THE RAGEEEEEEE.)

Until next time peeps!
