Good evening peeps!
It's about 11 pm and I just finished watching a video from Ted Talks, but before I get to that, let me tell you about a couple of other things.
Life has a funny way of connecting what a person is looking for. Regardless of if you believe in The Secret, a book written by Rhonda Byrne, the concept isn't new. Widely regarded as a general belief in how someone gets from point A to point B, is a concept that has been around for a while that not many knew about, or considered to be true. However, I believe that the law of attraction does work. I'll get to why in a bit here...
Anyways, the last couple of weeks have been interesting in that I've ended up going out a lot. There were some birthdays, baby shower, movie days, write ins, info sessions, etc... But among all of those things I've been consistent in doing one thing. Reading something every single night.
Often I have a billion tabs open from articles with which to base new pieces on, tips on writing/editing, watching videos on business or psychology, etc... I have tabs open for frivolous things also like how to spec out a Warframe in game or eSports teams acquiring new players. Even still I open my kindle and read books on a variety of things. Currently in my roster of reading material are books on WordPress. By doing this, I feel as though things are starting to happen. I feel a general shift in attitude and thought process because of regular reading.
Lately I've been watching youtube videos from Ted Talks. This can't be a coincidence. I'm watching videos on self improvement, understanding people, and bettering myself in the craft of writing. So how does this get applied?
A good friend of mine is self employed. After years of not being successful in the way he wanted to be in his business, he now has a team of people and feels overwhelmed by the amount of business he is conducting. This prompted me to talk to him about success. I told him about a particular Ted Talks video on the topic, even bringing him to the site. Apparently, this good friend of mine has somehow been oblivious to Ted Talks, but I digress... Once I opened the flood gates, regardless of if he watches the videos or not, it opened me up to watching more of them. Daily. So you decide if all of that is coincidence or not.
I want to pass you guys one of the videos, one that I just finished watching. I feel as though it's an important video. Even though I've been very busy doing many things, I make efforts to pay it forward. Generally passing bad things along leads to bad things. Passing good things along leads to good things.

Apart from my foray of reading articles and watching awesome videos such as the one above, I've been adding scenes to Agnus the Beast (my novel). I will get this thing finished come hell or high water. (I made a funny. That won't make sense unless you read the book XD #vaguebooking!) Anyways, I've been adding scenes in order for the story to make more sense. Since the book is based on Dungeons and Dragons, there are certain actions that make sense to players of the game, but make little sense when in book form. Since I'm predominately a player of the game, things get lost in translation. Once the additions are made, I should be able to send it to betas! (Also eep!! O.O )
Soon I'll get back to working on my short ebook series. Now that I'm a little more level headed, it should be easier to write. Given that its a story about a person in therapy, being more objective as the writer will make the task much smoother. Trust me. It'll make sense when you figure out the topic!
Wow. I'm good at this vague booking. *cackles*
Lastly, we did filming for The Silver Stag today! Season four is now up and running. I can't wait to share the video with everyone! Even if I'm not on all of the panels, I always watch them. You see, we have an excellent group of people. And, I also appreciate SM Carriere for conjuring up this series. You can find Nights at the Round Table here: https://www.youtube.com/user/SilverStagStudios/playlists
Just before running off, don't forget about Ted Talks, make sure to read, and thank you for being a follower of awesome. <3
Until next time!
