The Beginning of Awesome!

If somehow you have missed my social media posts (twitter and facebook), you would have not seen the epic news! I'm now a contributor for Elotalk.com! I have two articles up currently and the direct links to both articles are under the Portfolio tab (other works). I encourage everyone to take a look at them! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Can we tell I'm excited about this? No.. not at all Jaggy... Not at all...
I'm also officially a contributor for Girls on Games! The article for that will be published tomorrow so keep an eye out! I'll also include a link for that one when it's released. It will cover my perspective as a female gamer on Twitch. It's sure to be a good one!
Anyways, Oct 1st is fast approaching and I'm excited for it. There are many reasons why. Firstly, on that day Gregory A. Wilson, a TEGG author/professor/streamer, is going to be playing a game of D&D with such amazing people like Marie Bilodeau, Patrick Rothfuss, Amal El-Mohtar, and one other author that I've forgotten their name (I'll edit this later with the appropriate link). The GM for this epic game is none other that Ed Greenwood himself. Apparently there will be giveaways and what not so stay tuned! I can't tell you guys just how stoked I am for this stream to happen. It's like the days can't pass by quickly enough. Honestly, all of this week has kept my excitement bar at max level. My poor roommates... LOL!
Another reason for the excitement is the Halloween event in Guild Wars 2. I enjoy this event more than anything in the game. GIVE ME ALL YOUR CANDY! *insert cackling here* I shall be running around with my Mini Prince Thorn... Hopefully, and I do mean hopefully, I will FINALLY complete that damn Jumping Puzzle. Just once. That's all I ask for... My tiny asuran ass has completed all of the Jumping Puzzles in the game, except the newest one in the Ring of Fire... But still! The point is that I am a nerd and need to complete the thing. I will have a zillion screenies of this if I manage to get to the end. Also, when we get the event, I'll be AWOL on the game because reasons :D (CANDY!).
The third reason? Halloween/Samhain itself. I absolutely love this time of year. People get to dress up, get lots of candy and chocolate, perhaps go to a party or two... It's Rocky Horror Picture Show time, Beetlejuice time, and all the classics. Some people do horror, I do other movies. This time of year is also when my energy level is off the charts. If you know/believe anything about this time of year, it's the time in which the spirit world and the living world are closest together. This is what makes me a special kind of person aka vibetastic. Yes, we'll call it that. Samhain is what I deem to be my official New Years. I've always looked at it that way. Perhaps that's a bit strange for some of you but that's okay. I don't mind being weird, in fact I embrace the notion!
